I am a big supporter of the electric tools that utilize the Lithium-Ion battery. They provide all the power and freedom to make using these tools no longer a pain to start and operate. I used to own a gas powered Cub Cadet trimmer until it lost compression and I replaced it with this DeWalt trimmer. As brands go, DeWalt is at the apex and you can't do much better. I totally love all the various blades and the results this trimmer provides and highly recommend it !!
This chainsaw does a very good job on some of the largest limbs even though it's not your typical gas chainsaw. Again, this is a very dependable, reliable and rugged saw. .
I really like having the freedom to go out and spot spray a fenceline or a small group of weeds or thistles without having to hook up the 57 gallon 3 point sprayer to the tractor or using a one gallon "pump your arm off" 10 dollar sprayer. With this sprayer, you avoid both of those pains and get the spraying done quickly and easily. This is a great tool to have tucked away in your garage/storage shed ! Just a quick tip: If you are thinking about going with a four or five gallon backpack sprayer, they are quite heavy when full unless you have a very strong back or very good balance in your legs.......or both, I'd rather save the back and use the legs for more refill walks.
This spray can be added to water in either the 60 gallon sprayer or more likely in the 1 gallon sprayer for doing spot spraying. This spray will kill BOTH grass AND weeds so it would be safer to whatever you are wanting to eliminate, to use a one gallon sprayer to better isolate the spray pattern to just the specific area you are wanting the grass/and or weeds eliminated. This would be like a fenceline or a driveway or a cluster of heavy weeds. DO NOT, DO NOT use this spray on your lawn or pasture or you will end up killing the grass that you were wanting to enhance and help.
There are herbicide sprays on the market designed to kill just the weeds only and NOT the grass and it it would be this that you would spray on your lawn and pastures.
If there is one bit of advice that I highly recommend with using these herbicide sprays is this: If you will be using the same sprayer wherby you use it for killing both grass AND weeds, then make sure you thoroughly rinse out the sprayer after using a Weed & Grass Killing spray when you are done so that any leftover grass killing spray is not left behind or still resident in the sprayer when spraying an area that you DO NOT want to kill the grass.
I would also after each use of the sprayer, fill it halfway with water and run it to rinse out the spray that was used in it, Otherwise, many of the herbicide sprays can be corrosive if not rinsed out before storing away for some time.
I was always a bit skepticle of if an electric roto tiller could perform like a gas powered tiller but I am no longer a sceptic and am now convinced they are as capable as gas powered tillers. I also prefer the front tillers over the rear tillers as more weight is over the front tines than the rear tines, thus giving the tines the capacity to dig a little deeper on front tillers. Happy planting and enjoy those home grown vegies !!
